The digital revolution in steel structure project management

This article describes the fundamental principles underlying steel structure project management systems. It then summarizes how current tools enable the operationalization of these management systems, namely MES software – Manufacturing Execution Systems. Some of their limitations are described.

Finally, an application is presented and its operation explained, addressing these limitations while introducing a set of innovative functionalities.
